It was actually pretty calm downtown. Some of the big stores and pharmacies were open. A lot of locals and people from CDMX were on the beaches. One of the biggest problems was no traffic lights on the Costera. I would say that the biggest problem downtown is not the danger of crime, but the lack of things to do.
