All Dominican Republic’s north coast is Sargassum free. With some of the most beautiful beaches in the world like Emerald Coast Beach at Miches, also at Las Terrenas, Samaná, Nagua, Cabrera, Rio San Juan, Puerto Plata, Luperón and many others.

Starting on 6/7 Cap Cana beach in Dominican Republic water was brown from so much seaweed. First few days we were there it was clear and beautiful. Resorts do excellent job cleaning it up so it’s not ON the beach you don’t see much. It’s just in the water. They have a net barrier up which helps. Months of June – Aug are supposed to be the worst. Should have no issues in winter.

Was in st. Martin in April at hotel on little bay. The last few days the beaches at Belair hotel an Little Divi resort were full of seaweed.

Beaches on the Caribbean side of the island are mostly clear. The Atlantic side beaches are terrible–
even the famed Crane Beach.

St.Lucia just won BEST CARIBBEAN ISLAND in 2022 my dear, beating the entire Caribbean bigger islands like Jamaica, Trinidad and the rest. Its because of its 2 Piton peaks, the Only drive in Volcano in the world. Also winning g over and over Bedt Honeymoon destination in Caribbean again.
