Everything is open for tourism with some restrictions. We recommend you to consult the specific biosecurity restrictions for the area you are visiting.
The increase in positive cases has forced the Swiss government to impose new restrictions nationwide such as that every person older than 6 should wear a face mask in all enclosed spaces.
Last week, authorities reported 5,262 new cases over the last 24 hours. As of today the country has reported 279,572 positive cases, 180,700 of them are already recovered and 3,879 have lost their lives to the virus.
